What is the role?
This is an exciting opportunity to be able to expand your skills & be able to work within a high quality, fast paced & passionate team. You will work closely alongside our current 2 painters whilst learning as much as possible from them.
You will be working primarily on BMW / MINI vehicles, but also other non-manufacturer branded vehicles. Having previous BMW / MINI product knowledge is advantageous.
Your role will include normal responsibilities that fall within the painter role, including but not limited to: High quality paint preparation, quality masking work, able to prime / high build affected repair areas, competent at paint mixing, colour matching & be process driven with spray out cards, flat & polish your final paintwork to a high BMW standard, carry out final checks on the vehicle after repair, ensuring all is in line with the description on the job card.
The ideal candidate for the role will be independent, knowledgeable & demonstrate a professional enthusiastic attitude to work.
Role responsibilities – including but not limited to:
Previous experience as a painter / SMART repair technician in a professional workshop environment.
A full UK driving licence.
Good attention to detail and the ability to work well under controlled pressure & multi-task.
To be able to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.
You’ll receive manufacturer training, if needed.

You will have a passion for customer service, a process orientated approach and be well-presented
Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training
A full UK Driving Licence
We will also expect you to be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile

Have a great work ethic
Have a good time management
Your experience:
You will have some form of understanding and experience in paint prepping
You will have at least 2 year with working in a main dealer Bodyshop or a smart repairer role
Full UK Driving Licence essential
Hours:
This is an onsite role, Monday – Friday from 08:00am – 18:00pm.
